Hey friends,

On Sunday, I sat in a nearly three-hour Vision Team Meeting and on Wednesday, I sat in a four-hour Master Planning Team meeting.  Thursday it was Finance team.  Friday morning . . . more Maste Planning.  Now you might be inclined to think that I need to get a life!  And some days you might be right.

But all these meetings are happening for a reason.  We don't have meetings just for fun around here.  Our time with our families and friends is too precious for that.  These meetings are helping us plan for the future of the the church - the future God has for us.

I want to continue to ask you to pray for our Vision Team.  Their task is to find the words that describe what God is doing and to help us capture clarity on this point.  They are attempting to discover who we are and our uniqueness as a church.

I also want to ask you to pray for our Master Planning Team.  Their job is to take the vision of the church and to help us translate that into a master plan for our eventual facilities.  They are in the process of finding and hiring an architect that will help us do just that.

Our Staff Team is planning for our staffing needs both now and in the future so we are adequately prepared for what God is doing.  Our finance team is helping us to steward the resources that God has given you and which you have chosen to give back to Him.

There are people making important discoveries about who God has called us to be.  They are making important plans.  In the coming weeks and months, they will be coming to you with some of thos plans and words for your comment.  Pray for them.  Pray for the staff.  Pray for yourselves that we will all welcome God's movement when we see it.  Just pray!

I can honestly tell you that I have never been more excited or optimistic about The Watershed and the future God has for us.  We're growing.  We're continuing to see people being brought back to relationship with Christ.  We're seeing people form meaningful relationships with other people and others wanting to start doing that.  God is indeed moving in a powerful way.
