How are you doing on your invites?

If you haven’t heard, I’ve thrown out a challenge to our congregation to make a total of 35 invitations to our friends and neighbors this Easter.  I hope each of you will invite someone, and then let me know that you’ve done it by posting on my Facebook or e-mailing me (matt@thewatershedchurch.com).  You don’t have to tell me who you invited, and they don’t even have to come (althougth it'd be great if they did!).  I just hope you’ll let me know when you’ve made an invite, so we can track against our goal.  I have made my first invite . . . so we have at least 1!

Remember, this is a time when so many people are looking for a place to be for Easter Sunday, and we think it’s an incredible opportunity to help people get connected to Christ or to maybe find a church home after being out of the habit for awhile.  So take one of our Easter cards at church on Sunday and bring it to a friend, or send them a link to our web-site as an invite.  Or walk across the street when they’re out and about and invite a neighbor face to face.  Your invitation could make an eternal difference.  It could save a marriage, mend a parent-child relationship, or just start a really cool conversation.  You’ll never know unless you try it.

See you Sunday!
